Casillas could look for Madrid exit in January
Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas will probably look to leave the club in the January transfer window if the Spain international doesn't get more playing time.
Casillas, who has played only one full game this season, never recovered his starting position from Diego Lopez after breaking his left hand last season.
"If the situation doesn't change within three months and you ask me the same question, I'd probably say that I'll be looking to leave," Casillas said yesterday.
Madrid coach Jose Mourinho favoured Lopez even after Casillas' return, and new coach Carlo Ancelotti has also stuck with the former Spain international bought from Sevilla in January. Casillas has played just 105 minutes this season, all in the Champions League.
The 32-year-old Spain international has been a regular at Madrid since 1999, guiding the club to two Champions League and five Spanish league titles. He captained Spain to a 2010 World Cup triumph between back-to-back European Championships.

Maradona led Napoli to its only two Serie A titles in 1987 and 1990.
He says ,"There are coaching changes all over the place - from Spain to Italy to England to Russia - but some people are afraid of me. That's why I'm not coaching."
Maradona coached Argentina to the quarter-finals of the 2010 World Cup and then was in charge of Dubai-based club Al Wasl for one season.

Barcelona pursues Winter Olympic bid
On the heels of another failed Madrid bid for the Summer Olympics, Barcelona is hesitantly inching forward with its desire to host the Winter Games. Whether it bids for the 2022 or 2026 Games is the question.
The Mediterranean coastal city is planning a "Barcelona-Pyrenees" candidacy, with the nearby mountains as an alpine venue. The issue has gained urgency ever since Madrid failed in its attempt to land the 2020 Summer Games last month.
Barcelona Mayor Xavier Trias said he backs a 2022 bid "but if that's not possible, then we'll try for 2026".
