THE EDITOR, Sir:
I wish to bring to your attention the rampant indiscipline engulfing our schools. It must end now! The indiscipline in schools is getting too blatant and the teachers cannot seek to do anything about it. I would like Minister of Education Ronald Thwaites to do something about this.
As a result of this behaviour, there is a fluctuating relationship between teachers and students. Teachers often refuse to attend classes because of the indiscipline.
While this is happening, there are other students in the classes who are willing to learn and participate but because of indisciplined students, the willing students suffer.
If we want to solve this problem, all of us must cooperate. Government alone cannot solve it. It must be tackled at the earliest point. Raising indisciplined students is poisonous for the nation and it is in the interest of everyone that we help to solve this problem.
