THE EDITOR, Sir:
My family and I started watching The Voice and America's Got Talent from 2011 and 2009, respectively, and these shows form part of our family fun time.
My family consists of 2 young children, whose bedtimes are 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
This year, TVJ, part-sponsored by Digicel, decided to buy exclusive rights to The Voice. By doing this, they show the show live on RETV and delayed on TVJ at 9 p.m.
I do not have RETV in my cable package, therefore, my family and I cannot watch the show live anymore. As I mentioned above, my young children have to go to bed at a certain time. Therefore, we have not been able to watch our beloved show, which we have been faithfully watching since inception.
TVJ has disrupted my family fun time. And I know I speak for a lot of disgruntled viewers. I can hardly find the words to explain how I truly feel. I have literally lost my voice.
