A report ('Formalise the export of labour', Gleaner, November 1, 2013) has a graduate of the University of the West Indies suggesting that the Government fast-track the export of Jamaican labour!
At first, I thought he was referring to the unskilled labour, but soon found out he was not. He was referring to graduates of the 'intellectual ghetto'! What? I was flabbergasted.
We were being asked to spend money to educate and export our capital for the benefit of other countries! Madness, I thought! Then it hit me - sheer genius!
The perfect solution to all our problems, including climate change: less carbon dioxide for us more for Europe!
