The grand draw of Broadcast and Allied Services Credit Union's Share Bonanza promotion took place recently. The lucky winners of the grand prizes were Samuel Allen, who won first prize of $100,000; and Kirk Buchanan, who won the second prize of $50,000.00.

Both winners were naturally delighted to receive their prizes at the presentation ceremony which took place on September 18.

The savings competition, which began on January 14, has netted an increase in share savings of $1.8 million. "In a climate of declining disposable income, it is a testament to the resilience of Broadcast and Allied Services Credit Union members that they continue to save in increasing amounts," said Evette Wright-Williams, general manager of the credit union.

New and old members of the credit union are advised to look out for a 2014 version of the promotion.
