Cops to blame

Published: Saturday | December 7, 2013 Comments 0

THE EDITOR, Sir:

It irks me that no one was arrested in the find of a bullet-making machine at the wharves. The police are to blame.

I would have expected the police to monitor the area where the machine was located until someone turned up to claim it, or follow it to the intended destination.

If our police are serious about crime-fighting, they must be smart as well. Finding that piece of equipment without being able to link it to anyone was a pyrrhic victory.
