TVJ's Brown out of order

Published: Wednesday | December 11, 2013 Comments 0

THE EDITOR, Sir:

Journalism is a gentleman's profession, and there is need for a finishing school for those who currently practise the craft.

TVJ journalist Vashan Brown, in his recent attempt at interviewing the prime minister, was extremely abrasive and he deserved to be shoved. It makes no sense for the Press Association of Jamaica to defend him.

If the prime minister does not want to talk to the press, don't cover any event she attends. That's what gentlemen do, not attempt to abuse her.
