Blaine should be Boyz's coach

THE EDITOR, Sir:I just read the article about the new contract offered to the interim Reggae Boyz coach. Since when does a 0-3-3 record deserve a reward?

Besides, Jamaica has an excellent assistant coach in Vin Blaine, who has paid his dues in the development of Jamaican football at all levels. He deserves a chance, not only for his work with the Boyz, but his work with the U-20, U-17, and U-15 Girlz. I am sure he would be less expensive!

Have some Jamaican pride by offering the contract to a Jamaican!
