Action, not a bag a mouth

THE EDITOR, Sir:

There is an unsettling trend where our youths are striving to be like the entertainers they idolise. They believe that to be successful, they have to imitate both the DJs' lifestyle and the lyrics. You would be shocked to hear the ominous lyrics of our young that glorify guns, mock spirituality, and degrade women.

As a society, we have to take some action. We must oversee the cleanness of our music because that will decide what our next generation hear and live.

I know that we need to allow for artistes' intellectual creativity, but when creativity is used for destruction and violence, we cannot stand aside and look.
