No justice for landowner

Published: Wednesday | December 18, 2013 Comments 0

THE EDITOR, Sir:

Is there justice in Jamaica? I think not!

Some 14 years ago, I purchased land in Hanover and built my house, only to find that I could not obtain a title.

My original lawyer in Lucea was reported to the General Legal Council, found guilty and struck off. For the past 14 years, my new lawyers in Mandeville have been doing what, I wonder.

After so many years, the Supreme Court having lost my file, etc., I am still no nearer in obtaining my title. Yet I pay my land tax. Justice?
