Jon Baker, hotel connoisseur and record executive and up-and-coming pop sensation Nordia Whitter tied the knot on December 7 at the infinity pool at Trident Hotel in Port Antonio, Portland. The hotel that Baker has meticulously renovated into a five-star, art deco chic hotel was the luxurious wedding location for the bride and the groom. Every young girl dreams of her wedding dress and having that fairy-tale wedding and that's exactly what Whitter and Baker's day was. Intimate with less than a hundred guests, the wedding was nothing short of a fairy tale set in paradise. The ceremony overlooked the cobalt-blue waters of the Port Antonio coastline.
The on-trend black-and-white theme of the wedding was so chic with the decor from Petals and Promises. The entire wedding party and guests were decked out in black-and-white cocktail dresses, gowns and tuxedos.
The bride walked down the aisle in a handmade Karo Karoza, Los Angeles wedding dress embellished with Swarovski crystals and pearls completed with a head piece by Clodovil Hernandez made with sweet water pearls and Swarovski crystals. She was a picture of pure radiance and glamour while her bridesmaids were outfitted in white silk organza cocktail dresses designed by Slovakian-born Jamaican designer Lubica. The groom's complete look was a black-and-white bespoke suit by Gucci.
No wedding is complete without your wedding reception which allows you to dine and dance the night away. The wedding reception was held at Mike's Supper Club at the Trident Hotel. The guests of honour helped to celebrate the bride and the groom on their momentous day with their first dance being so intimate with songs performed live by international R&B superstar Joe.
Their wedding day wouldn't be complete without the entire team that made the Bakers' day possible. From chefs to hairstylist to lighting and production, everyone played their role in ensuring that the couple had the "perfect wedding".
The fairy tale wouldn't be complete without the beautiful vintage horse and carriage provided by Take me to Jamaica, Runaway Bay, that carried the bride and groom on their journey of celebration. The firework display was spectacular set against the moonlit sky which completed the fairy tale. Flair wishes to congratulate the Bakers on their nuptials and wish them a lifetime of happiness!
