IRIE FM radio personality George GT Taylor is anticipating another successful staging of his annual Christmas night stage show.
"I expect the show to have another wonderful staging this year. This will be our 13th year. Over the years, we have been able to develop a good track record by consistently delivering one of the best shows every year. The patrons know they can always look forward to a good show on Christmas night."
With the popular Boom energy drink on board as the title sponsor, the show is being staged this year under the theme the ultimate Christmas Stage Show.
"By now, it should be very clear that Boom Energy Drink Christmas GT Taylor's Christmas Reggae Extravaganza is the best Christmas stage show in Jamaica. Our reputation speaks for itself, we've consistently showcased some of the biggest and best reggae and dancehall acts, and this year, it will be no different," said Taylor.
Taylor is confident that he has put together another winning lineup.
"This year, we have another fantastic line-up which includes acts like Bounty Killer, Cham, I Octane, Sizzla, Beenie Man, Capleton, Romain Virgo, Macka Diamond, D'Angel, QQ, Admiral Tibet, Josey Wales, and Louie Culture. This is one of the reasons why the show has been so successful. We don't have a lot of gimmicks, our event is all about exciting performances from some of the very best acts in the business."
According to Taylor, everything is in place to ensure that on Christmas night patrons will enjoy a good production.
"Over the last few months, we've been working non-stop to set up the venue. Everything is in place now, the stage, the bathroom facilities, ticket booths, and all the other necessary facilities are ready. Almost all the artistes have done their rehearsals already, we've also contracted the services of the best lighting and sound companies. Security will be of an optimum quality, we're ready for Christmas night, the show is going to be awesome," said GT.
Boom Energy Drink GT Taylor's Christmas Reggae Extravaganza will take place at Independence Park in Black River, St Elizabeth, tomorrow.
GT Taylor also highlighted the importance of the show's sponsors.
"I must emphasise that without the help of the sponsors, it would be extremely difficulty to put on a show of this magnitude. Last year, we had no major sponsors, but this year, we have Boom Energy Drink and Guinness, and I'm very thankful for their support," he said.
