WI cricket in need of a clinical psychologist

Published: Saturday | December 28, 2013 Comments 0

The Editor, Sir:

According to captain and coach, the West Indies cricket team has been on a learning curve for at least 10 years. This is their self-assessment, but I wonder what the manager thinks?

With Greenidge and Haynes, Holding and Ambrose, Dujon, (Roger) Harper and Walsh among us, perhaps the present players might benefit from a few words from the greats. Some of our Test players think that their heads exist for the sole purpose of wearing the appropriate headgear.

We are in urgent need of a clinical psychologist and a psychiatrist.
