Love our black skin

THE EDITOR, Sir:

Jamaica is one of the most beautiful places in the world. You cannot deny that beauty is everywhere, even in the ghetto. The sea of faces is a sight to behold. Downtown Kingston is a Mecca of wonderful black faces. I love Jamaica. I have adopted the culture and the music. They leave you thinking of positive change. You cannot find a better collection of beautiful black women. My wife is one of those beautiful women. Finally, the women of Jamaica no longer believe that black men in the US are not worthy of their love. I pray for the day when the two parties realise that they have a common enemy. The powers that be have always put us blacks against each other. We must learn to love our black skin. Other races envy our colour. We must do as Buju Banton said: "Organise, centralise and come as one."
