Change Customs, immigration card

Published:Monday | August 25, 2014 | 12:00 AM

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I am writing to offer some suggestions to the Immigration/Customs regarding their C5 card.

As it is at present, one needs a magnifying glass to fill out the Customs declaration side.

I am suggesting that the print used be a darker black similar to the line "all residents 18 years and over, etc."

On the other side of the form, I am suggesting that each line could be a millimetre or two closer to the one above. This would not only make it easier to fill out, but would allow for the form to be shorter.

As it is now it is a most uncomfortable length and is ungainly to handle.

I trust that these suggestions will be given every consideration by the Immigration/Customs departments.
