Rodney Harrack to be featured in Ireland

The work of renowned ceramic artist Norma Rodney Harrack will be featured in an exhibition titled 'Moving Objects' at Dublin Castle, Ireland, on September 8. The exhibition and conference is being staged by the International Academy of Ceramics, which is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.

Harrack is an international artist who is recognised for her dynamic traditional and contemporary works. Her 'Blue Mountains' slab series was chosen for this global exhibition.

Harrack lives in and creates her art in Kingston. Her work is represented in the permanent collection of museums worldwide, including a recent acquisition by the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, California. Her most recently published writings include Jamaican Taino Pottery. She is currently on the faculty of the Edna Manley College.
