JHF names squads for World League
The Jamaica Hockey Federation (JHF) has named 22 players to the national teams that will participate in the International Hockey Federation (FIH) World League Round One being played in Jamaica between September 30 and October 5.
Jamaica will host Barbados, Dominican Republic, Trinidad & Tobago, and Venezuela in the men's competition, while Barbados, Dominican Republic, Trinidad & Tobago, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico are to field women's teams.
The women's home team, coached by Dr Michelle Holt, is to be led by captain Lorie-Ann McIntosh and include five players - Shenice Campbell, Shantel Graham, Kareme Hudson, Melisha Murray, and Shannar White - making their debut at the national senior level.
The men's team, coached by Nicholas Brown, will be led by Kishawn White and will include debutants Jonte Johnson, Phillip Dawson, Giovanni Green, Andrew Fletcher, Brandon Clarke, Kardiff Davidson, Shayne Blake, Tyrone Vernon, Giovanni Campbell, and Rjay Wallen.
