Title-holders Mel-bourne will be seeking their second win in as many matches when they entertain Kensington in the feature game of the second round of the Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) 50 Overs Championship tomorrow.

To be played at Melbourne Oval, the Zone D encounter will see the home team looking to build on their 101 runs win over St Thomas last weekend.

Melbourne were led by Jamaica middle-order batsman, Andre McCarthy, who hit eight sixes and slammed fours in making 117. He was supported by O'Neil Wright, who made 67 not out.

The two are again expected to form the core of Melbourne's batting, which also includes Carlton Baugh Jr, Sadiki Bolt and captain, Jon-Ross Campbell.

Kensington will also be hoping to make it two from two.

They are expected to be led by national representatives David Bernard Jr, Horace Miller and Jason Dawes, as well as left-arm spinner Ransford Merchant, who claimed four wickets in their victory over Lucas.

Other games

In other matches in the zone, which will be contested today, Lucas will welcome Kingston at Nelson Oval, while Boys' Town will play away to St Thomas at Goodyear Oval.

The round will also see interesting match-ups across the other three zones.

In Zone A, surprise leaders St James will host St Elizabeth at the Trelawny Stadium, while in Zone B front-runners St Catherine CC will play Clarendon at Chedwin Park.

Two-day champions Jamaica Defence Force will travel to the Frank Worrell Oval to face University of the West Indies tomorrow. All games are slated to get under way at 9:30 a.m.
