Clarendon extend lead in Group H
Former champions Claren-don College continued their rampant ways, dismissing Claude McKay 4-0 in one of three daCosta Cup matches yesterday.
The win extended their lead in Group H to a maximum 15 points and also keeps their 100 percent win record intact, as they moved five points clear of Edwin Allen.
Mile Gully improved their chances of an Inter-zone berth with a 2-1 win over DeCarteret College in Group F, moving to nine points, three less than leaders Manchester High, while Marcus Garvey's 3-0 win at home against Browns Town lifted them to 15 points, the same as the unbeaten Cedric Titus, who will play today.
Meanwhile, two former champions could book their spot in the next round of the competition today. Group B rivals Frome and Rusea's High are in pole position to do just that. Frome (nine points) and Rusea's (six) could become the first teams to advance when they tackle Green Island and Merlene Ottey, respectively.
