Hydel High and Calabar High will square off in today's top-of-the-table clash in Group F of the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/LIME Manning Cup at the Caymanas field starting 3:30 p.m.

In the group's other games, Eltham will entertain Penwood and St Catherine tackle St Jago.

The Donovan Hayles-coached Hydel, quarter-finalists in last year's competition, lead the group with 20 points, four ahead of Calabar, with two rounds of matches to go in the group. They are followed by St Jago (14), St Catherine (10), Eltham (six) and Penwood zero.

Hydel will start favorites to win today's encounter, this after their 2-0 over Calabar at Red Hills Road in their opening game of the season two-weeks ago.

Hydel are the top attacking team in the competition, having 44 goals while conceding a mere three. The Bradley Stewart-coached Calabar, have netted 18 goals while conceding six goals.

Hayles expects a very tough game, but he is confident that they will come out on top.

"Calabar are in a very desperate position because they are still trying to qualify for the next round of the competition and St Jago are right on their heels and so we are going to be in for a tough game," said Hayles.

"We are definitely gunning for three points but we are going up against a very tough Calabar team, who are desperate to survive in this competition," he said.

Stephen Barnett, who has scored nine goals in the competition so far, will lead Hydel's charge to victory. He is expected to receive good support from fellow attackers Jantne Brown (seven), Nicholas Nelson (six).

Calabar's coach Bradley Stewart said they have got over their earlier defeat to Hydel and so they will be seeking a comprehensive victory.

"It is going to be a tough game and I am expecting a good performance from by team because we are pumped up for this game," said Stewart.
