Gov't lying that paracetamol supply adequate

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I wish to question the Government's statement in Wednesday's Gleaner that there is no shortage of paracetamol in the island.

As a member of the health sector, I interface with the sales reps of various pharmaceutical companies. When asked about paracetamol or Panadol availability, I hear none is available. Despite ordering these drugs, none has been delivered. So I would like to know when the drugs will be freed up so persons can use them.

It is a shame that Jamaican people are being lied to in such a blatant and despicable way!

Way to go, health ministry!
