Representatives from 30 United States (US), Canadian and local universities will participate in the third annual American International School of Kingston (AISK)/Hillel Academy college fairs to be held on Tuesday, October 21, at 3 p.m to 6:30 p.m. at AISK; and on Wednesday, October 22, at Hillel Academy, from 3:30p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

AISK is located at 2 College Green Avenue, Kingston 6, and Hillel at 51 Upper Mark Way, Kingston 8.

These fairs provide a unique opportunity to learn about the participating universities and are open to fifth- and sixth-form students from schools across the island. Admission is free.

College admissions officers will be on hand to personally provide information about their schools, including acceptance policies, programmes, facilities, financial and scholarship opportunities.

In addition, the following workshops will be presented at both fairs beginning at 6 p.m.:

College Applications Made Easy - presented by Vanderbilt University.

All You Need to Know about Financial Aid - presented by University of Chicago.

Qualifying for Athletic Scholarships - presented by the University of South Florida.

Students are urged to come prepared to take notes and bring a folder to put handouts from colleges. For further information, email Donna Preston at Hillel Academy: collegehelp@gohillel.com or Nicole McLaren Campbell: collegecounseling@aisk.com.
