Tyler for second Global Leadership Summit set for next week in MoBay

MONTEGO BAY:American film-maker, actor, and philanthropist, Tyler Perry, along with other business, government, education, and church leaders are among the presenters who will be featured via videocast to an audience of Christian and business leaders on October 24 and 25, at the Montego Bay Convention Centre.

The Global Leadership Summit (GLS) is hosted by Jamaica Link Ministries in partnership with Love 101 FM. The summit is an international event which is held in more than 100 cities across the world. The objective is to make a positive impact in Jamaica through transformational leadership development.

The event is geared towards business, education, the Church, government and youth leaders interested in sharpening their leadership skills. They can expect to be equipped with vision, training, and resources that will challenge them to implement strategic leadership principles.

The GLS speakers alongside Perry are Jeffrey Immelt: president and CEO of General Electric; Susan Cain, author, viral TED speaker on the power of introverts; Wilfredo De Jesus, senior pastor at New Life Covenant Church, author, and one of Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People in 2013; Joseph Grenny, social scientist for business performance; Allen Catherine Kagina, commissioner general, Uganda Revenue Authority; Don Flow, chairman and CEO, Flow companies Inc.

After a warm response to the inaugural 2013 staging of GLS, Jamaica Link Ministries has taken steps to up the ante and make this year's event even more enriching for all attendees. The event fees cover, a workbook package, coffee break and lunch for attendees over the two-day period.
