Why not, after Outameni?
THE EDITOR, Sir: I have no negative comment to make on the National Housing Trust's acquisition of Outameni. My motives are, of course, purely selfish. I have been talking with parents of children with disabilities, in particular those who will find it impossible to live on their own.
One of my tasks during the December break, when all are focused on the ham and rice and peas, is to prepare a proposal to submit to the National Housing Trust for a partnership to put up, initially, one group home - one that provides a decent living space - for our children, now young adults.
I cannot see how the NHT board would not favourably consider our request. Why not, after Outameni?
