Online community to ride on Restaurant Week Blogger Bus
On Monday, November 17th, bloggers from the corporate area will participate in the first ever Restaurant Week (RW) Blogger Bus. This roving event will allow the bloggers to experience all that the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week has to offer while including the online community in their culinary experience of various participating restaurants.
"The overall aim of the Restaurant Week Blogger Bus is to provide online users with an intimate, unbiased review of Restaurant Week event," notes Stephanie Scott of SSCO and conceptualiser of Restaurant Week Jamaica.
The RW Blogger Bus will make various stops throughout the night as the bloggers sample dishes (and drinks) from some of the participating restaurants. The first stop will be for cocktails, and then will continue to other locations where the bloggers will sample appetisers, entrees and desserts from three additional restaurants.
Some of the night's attendees will include online media companies Sleek, Skkan and Infuzion, in addition to popular online personalities. Each of the invitees will be sponsored by one of the RW partners. The online community can follow the evening's festivities using the hashtag, #RWBloggerBus, where highlights from the restaurants, bus ride and the food will be posted throughout the night.
