Bashco promises great deals

With Christmas just days away, Omar Azan, marketing and pubic-relations officer at Bashco Trading Company Limited, has noted the establishment will continue to provide a wide array of materials for its customers during the festive season.
"We, at Bashco, have always made an effort, especially at Christmas time, to facilitate our customers," Azan told The Gleaner recently. "Right before December, we had a sale to celebrate the opening of our Spanish Town location. We also have a couple of big things planned for the rest of December. We call it Bashco Christmas Blowout."
He added: "There are going to be items across the store that will be on special for Christmas. We have a variety of items, crazy amounts of toys for the kids, electronics such as flat screen TVs, big speakers for Christmas parties, and even household items such as rugs, curtains, bed linens, and cutlery sets."
Azan went on to note that there has been a change in the taste of Bashco's market over the years.
"There was a time when my boss used to say the best thing you could sell at Christmas is porcelain. You must have porcelain figurines in your place. If you don't have them, you don't have nothing," he said.
"Nowadays, people seem to be different. They want glass, nice electronics and appliances. As a result of this, Bashco has widened its range of items. For instance, we also realised that there was a change in the toys people want. They wanted more educational toys, so we made that available as well," Azan said.
Gifts for any budget
He also noted that Bashco is ideal for even those who are operating within a tight budget for their Christmas shopping.
"Let's say you have a Christmas budget of $5,000, you can pick up a pair of Desert King shoes, toys and a dinnerware set all at once. With $10,000, you can pick up the same items, or a wider array of electronics, even a blender," Azan said.
"Even if you want to decorate your house, you can get your Christmas tree, lighting and decorations all for less that $10,000 at Bashco. We always try our best to put the customer's interest first, and during this festive season should be no different," he added.
