2014 Health and fitness features were a spicy and educational taking care of your mind, body and soul. We not only had scintillating lap dance sessions but numerous fitness challenges, while taking care of our mental health. Here are some of our best health and fitness moments.

Dance for me

"Look into the mirror! Tell me your favourite body part. Don't be afraid to touch and feel either. Now, go grab a chair!" These instructions were shouted by transformation coach Caleen Diedrick, who used her spirited personality to connect with the six women in the room. She changed the shy, cautious atmosphere into one of uninhibited self-expression.

'Down south' hospitality

It is said that the best way to a young man's heart is through his stomach. So it is no wonder women go out of their way to make tasty gastronomical delights to please their men. But how much attention do we pay to body parts that appeal to both their senses of smell and taste.

Bigger isn't always better

They are completely obsessed with their diets and addicted to working out. But these aren't supermodels or professional body builders, they are ordinary men fixated on bulking up and getting muscles.

Detoxing

Are you experiencing mood swings, eczema, allergies, acne, migraines, indigestion, insomnia, severe menopausal symptoms, bloating, weight gain (even though you are exercising), depression, anxiety, joint pain, arthritis, chronic colds, coughs or flu, and lack of energy or libido? If your answer to any or all of the above is yes, it's a sign that you have toxic overload. Don't be alarmed by the term, we are living in a toxic world, so every now and then our body needs time to rest, heal and reset. The best way to do this is with a detox.

If you like a hot start to your day or a peaceful one, stepping into Bikram Yoga Jamaica this summer shouldn't be a problem. However, the hard part is staying there for 90 minutes.

'Age is only a number' is a phrase that we hear all the time with regard to relationships and love. However, this phrase has found another meaning in the world of athletics. Age is not a limitation, it is not something that determines what you can and cannot do, it does not define who you are, and it certainly cannot restrict you from getting up and deciding to make a lifestyle change.
