Clean and care
A clarifying and sulphate shampoo is a priority, along with a deep moisturising conditioner.
Moisturise and seal
We cannot emphasise this enough - dry hair is prone to damage so using a moisturiser (one that does not contain petroleum jelly) and natural oils (castor, olive, coconut, argon, avocado) are very important. For those with skin conditions such as eczema, avoid parabens and mineral oils.
Diet and exercise
In order to have healthy hair you have to have a healthy diet. Drink a lot of water, especially if you have dry scalp. And take a hike! Get some jogging done or take a simple stroll around the block.
Air drying is your friend. If you must use a blow-drier, flat iron or curling iron, ensure you are never out of a heat serum. This will help protect your hair from the direct heat.
