Glowing excitement inside Club Privilege
New Kingston hotspot, Club Privilege, has been the go-to nightclub for so many party people over the years, and its regular Saturday night crowd-pleaser 'PRIV' really lit up the club last week. Held under the theme 'Neon Glow', Privilege literally glowed with the patrons in neon coloured outfits, glow sticks and necklaces, while the black lights provided an interesting spectacle of glowing fluorescent attire and party favours.
PRIV 'The Glow Edition' invited patrons to party non-stop to the sounds of the club's resident selector DJ 3D, and Marc Chin of Coppershot with the ever-energetic Copper Cutty on the mic, while the bar provided hourly glow cocktails, mixed drinks and an array of top-shelf premium liquor.
The night began with DJ 3D warming up the growing crowd. Marc Chin and Cutty of Coppershot took to the stage at 1:15 a.m., beginning their set with a plethora of popular dancehall songs that really whipped the crowd into a frenzy, moving on into hip-hop hits and soca, which proved to be a popular move by sound system.
As the night wore on, it became more difficult to move around inside the club, but it was fun to be inside, as the hundreds in attendance danced up a storm. Patrons with glow sticks waved their hands as the music bobbed and weaved in and out of genres.
