JN Wedding Spectacular bridal expo launched
All things wedding and love was in the air on Tuesday when The Jamaica National Café Oasis, based in Half-Way Tree, was transformed to host specially invited guests for the launch of Wedding Spectacular 2015.
Sponsors, media personnel and stakeholders in the wedding industry, all turned out to get a glimpse of what patrons can expect at the grand staging of the bridal expo on February 22 at Hope Gardens.
Kibwe McGann, CEO of Intuit Concepts, organisers of the event, said the wedding expo is highly anticipated by brides and grooms-to-be, and has also become the ideal place for wedding vendors to engage potential clients. "This is our fourth staging, and I must say this year is indicative of how much we have grown. We have more than 80 exhibitors and the backing of major sponsors, which will certainly make this staging a memorable one for all participants," he said.
Carlene Edwards, sales, promotion and events manager at Jamaica National, highlighted that, as the title sponsor, Jamaica National will be the premier financial company on the day of the event, providing patrons with financial advice, and will also introduce couples to the JN Bridal Registry Account.
"While it is easy to get swayed by the 'dream wedding syndrome', there is still a lifetime ahead after the wedding, and naturally, the 'happily ever after life', will be dependent on their financial independence and stability. This is why Jamaica National Building Society has always sought to help our members and savers to continue on a path of financial sustainability. The JN Bridal Registry Account is one option to offer couples a solid start to their new lives together."
This year's Wedding Spectacular will be held under the theme 'An Evening of Romance', and will be the event for "everything wedding".
