Windwards in control at Arnos Vale Stadium
ARNOS VALE, St Vincent (CMC):
Windward Islands Volcanoes took control of their WICB Professional Cricket League match against Jamaica Franchise at the Arnos Vale Stadium here yesterday.
Replying to Jamaica Franchise's 204 all out, the Windwards were 289 for seven at the close on the second day of their sixth-round match.
Leading the way for the Windwards was André Fletcher, who will enter today's third day unbeaten on a solid 102. Tyrone Theophile made 55. Jamaica's best bowler yesterday was David Bernard Jr, who has so far taken four for 41.
Jamaica, losers by 105 runs to Guyana Jaguars last week, will hope to hit back early this morning and restrict the Windward Islands Volcanoes to a lead of under 100 runs. Jamaica (53 points) entered the match third in the standings, seven ahead of the Windwards, who are fourth.
Guyana head the standings with 75 points, while Barbados Pride are second on 60.

AT KENSINGTON OVAL: Barbados Pride, leading Trinidad and Tobago Red Force by 57 runs on first innings, were 15 without loss in their second innings at the close.

AT SIR VIVIAN RICHARDS OVAL: Leeward Islands Hurricanes, trailing Guyana Jaguars by 128 on first innings, were 36 for one in their second innings at the close.
