A team is expected in St. James to examine ways of solving a drainage problem along the Howard Cooke Highway in the parish.

The team will consist of individuals from the Urban Development Corporation (UDC), National Works Agency (NWA) and the parish council.

It is reported that the drain, which runs along the highway in the direction of the Charles Gordon market, frequently becomes blocked.

Prime Minister, Bruce Golding said the drain may need to be widened.
