JA to get new education targets

Prime Minister Bruce Golding has instructed Education Minister, Andrew Holness to develop education targets for the next 10 years.

Speaking at a University of Technology students seminar this morning, Mr. Golding said 'it is necessary to enhance the competitiveness of Jamaican students in the global market.
Students must more aggressively seek and apply knowledge to thrive in the ever-changing economic marketplace."

Prime Minister, Bruce Golding, will outline more of the government’s plan for education during his budget presentation on April 23.
