Jamaica’s world light heavyweight boxing champion Glen Johnson said he is confident of winning the World Boxing Council (WBC) title on Saturday, April 12.

Johnson and champion Chad Dawson will face off at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, USA.

Johnson, 39, is 14 years older than the young unbeaten champion. However, he believes in his physical condition and ability to win the WBC’s 175-pound belt.

Johnson said Dawson would not be able to handle his ring-craft on the night.

Dawson won the WBC belt last February when he defeated Tomasz Adamek on points in Florida.
