Health officials in Spain are reporting that the Mad Cow disease has killed two persons in the Castilla Leon region of North Madrid since December.
According to a health official the first death occurred on December 28 and the second on February 7 in hospitals at undisclosed locations in the provinces of Madrid.
She said the victims were between 25 and 50 years old.
Health officials have reported the findings to Spain's national network that monitors the disease and to a European monitoring network based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
