Portmore United knockout

Granville of St. James yesterday booted defending champions Portmore United out of the COK Champions Cup knockout football competition.

Granville won the quarterfinal encounter 5-4 on penalties after the teams played to a 1-1 draw at the end of full and extra time.

The game was played at the Sam Sharpe Teachers College in Montego Bay.

Tivoli Gardens edged Harbour View 1-0 at the Edward Seaga Stadium to book its spot.

Tivoli and Granville join Waterhouse and Village United in the semi-final scheduled for April 20. The final is set for May 4.
