Spin bowler Nikita Miller hit an unbeaten hundred on yesterday’s final day of Jamaica’s three-day practice match at Kensington Park.
The match ended in a draw.
Miller stroked 102 not out for Tamar Lambert Eleven as they piled up 534 for nine in a first innings reply to 269 by David Bernard’s Eleven.
It was the second century of the innings, as Australian-born Brendan Nash had scored 136 retired hurt.
Lambert’s Eleven resumed on an overnight 348 for five.
Opening batsmen Brenton Parchment, 59, and Shawn Findlay, 72, also scored well for Lambert’s side.
Bowling for Bernard’s Eleven, Yannick Elliott was the most successful with two for 86.
The Jamaicans are preparing for the five-day Carib Beer Challenge Final against Trinidad and Tobago at Sabina Park next week.
