Teacher stabbed to death in Mandeville

Detectives from the Mandeville CIB in Manchester, Jamaica have commenced a probe into the death of Trevor Sheckleford, a 54-year-old teacher whose body was found at his home at Grove Lane, Mandeville in the parish yesterday.

Reports are that about 9:10 a.m., neighbours discovered Sheckleford’s Toyota Mark 2 motor car partially burnt at the front of the premises and alerted the police.

Lawmen who responded searched the house and found his body in the living room. It had multiple stab wounds. The house was also ransacked. The crime scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue for post mortem.
