United Kingdom-based cleric, Sheikh Abdur Raheem Green, is currently in Jamaica to clear air on Islam, suicide bombing and other acts of terrorism.

The sheikh will be guest speaker at a two-day convention which begins today at the Masjid As-Salaam mosque on Red Hills Road, St Andrew.

Part of his message will focus on the death of Osama bin Laden.

He says it is important to clear the misconception that people have of Islam and to make it clear that Islam and Terrorism are not compatible.

Another part of his message will involve Jesus Christ, who Muslims consider a prophet.
