Police search for killers of teenagers

The Hunts Bay Police have issued an appeal to persons who may have information regarding the death of 15-year-old Wakeem Walker of Christian Lane, Kingston 11, to come forward.

Wakeem was shot dead at his home yesterday. The police report that about 4:30 p.m. the Waterhouse Police responded to reports of explosions in the area. When they arrived, they found Wakeem suffering from gunshot wounds. He later died.

Persons are being asked to contact the Hunts Bay Police at 903-3121; police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station.

And the police in St Catherine are investigating the killing of 16-year-old Jeazaun Page of Central Village in the parish.

The Central Village Police say about 2:30 a.m., Jeazaun was returning home from a dance when he was pounced upon by a group of men, who shot him several times. He died on the spot.

No motive has yet been established for the killing.
