JC, St. Jago headline Manning Cup encounter

Defending champions Jamaica College, JC, will be in action today when the ISSA/Gatorade/Digicel urban area Manning Cup football competition continues.

JC, fresh from their 12-nil whipping of Cumberland, will host St Jago. JC are second in Group D on six points, one ahead of St Jago.

Group leaders Camperdown will entertain Pembroke Hall at Bellevue field, while Kingston Technical and Cumberland will face off at Clan Carthy field.

Over in Group ‘B’ Papine host last year’s beaten finalist Waterford, Denham Town tackle Campion and Tivoli play Hydel at Edward Seaga Stadium.

Over in Group ‘F’, Ardenne travel to Cling Cling Oval to play Penwood, while Donald Quarrie entertain Norman Manley at Bull Bay.

The remaining matches are St Andrew Technical High School against St Mary’s College and Bridgeport hosting Jose Marti.

All matches are scheduled to kick off at 3:30 p.m.
