Ganja seized in St. Thomas

The St. Thomas Police is reporting that they seized more than 1,000 pounds of compressed ganja in an operation offshore the parish yesterday morning. No one was arrested in connection with the find.

Reports are that officers attached to the Marine Division conducted an operation in Dalvey Harbour between five and eight p.m., during which 32 bags and ten five gallon containers were found on the shoreline.

The items were inspected and found to contain approximately 1337 pounds of compressed ganja.

A 28-foot canoe and two boat engines were also seized in the incident.
