More than 130 prospective candidates will tomorrow apply to fill the 63 vacancies in the House of Representatives.

Ahead of tomorrow’s Nomination Day, The Gleaner has pulled together a group of persons in a Council to look at issues which Jamaicans believe political candidates should focus on during the election period.

Member of the group and chairman of the Jamaica Civil Society Coalition, Carol Narcisse says the group believes Jamaicans should press for job descriptions of Members of Parliament, as it could improve the performance of elected representatives and law makers.
