The Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ), is advising employers that it will not be accepting annual returns for the Calendar year until January 9, 2011.

At that time, the TAJ said it will be implementing a new system which will see a one form, the S zero 2, being used to file the returns.

Director of Communications at the Department, Meris Haughton said news procedures will also be put in place next year.

She said although the new system takes effect on December 31, it will not be utilised until January 9, to allow the TAJ to make several system changes.

Haughton said the forms have already been tested and seminars conducted with employers to sensitise them to using the new forms.
