Father killed, sons injured in crash

A father was killed and his two sons seriously injured in a motor vehicle crash along the Scarlet Hall to Wiltshire main road in Trelawny this afternoon.


The dead man has been identified as Andrew Davis of Erwin district in Saint James.

His two sons one 15-years-old, are now in the Falmouth Hospital.

So too is Harold Walker another motorist.

Itís reported that Davis was driving his Toyota Levin motor car enroute to Kingston when he tried to overtake a line of vehicles and collided head on with a Toyota Wish motor car driven by Walker.

Davis was pronounced dead at hospital.

But his two sons, as well as, Walker were admitted.

Residents of Scarlet Hall told The Gleaner/Power 106 News that a number of accidents have occurred on that section of the highway since the start of the year.
