Gas prices increase

Gasolene prices in Jamaica will go up by 23 cents effective tomorrow.

This will see a litre of E-10 87 gasolene being sold for $99.31 while E-10 90 gasolene will be sold for $100.96 per litre.

Petrojam says the upward movement in the prices is as a result of changes in the US Gulf reference prices.

Meanwhile, the price of automotive diesel oil has been increased by 94 cents and that fuel will sell for $102.88 per litre.

A litre of kerosene oil will sell for $105.77 following a 94-cent increase.

In the meantime, propane cooking gas will move up by 15 cents and will now sell for $44.18 per litre.

Butane has been increased by 33 cents per litre and will sell for $59.15.

Retailers will add their mark-ups to the announced prices.
