Jamaican Samardo Samuels played 12 minutes as the Cleveland Cavaliers pulled off a 99-92 upset of the Los Angeles Clippers in the NBA last night.
Power forward Antawn Jamison scored a game-high 27 points to lead Cavaliers to the victory. Point guard Ramon Sessions added 24 points and a season-best 13 assists, while center Anderson Varejao had 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Power forward Blake Griffin amassed 25 points and 15 boards for Los Angeles, who also got 21 points from small forward Caron Butler.
Meanwhile, Dirk Nowitzki scored 25 points and defending champions Dallas Mavericks snapped a three-game losing streak by beating Denver Nuggets 105-95.
In other games, Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Toronto Raptors 105-99, San Antonio Spurs defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 100-90, New York Knicks beat the Washington Wizards 107-93, Orlando Magic had a 102-89 victory over the Miami Heats and Detroit Piston beat Nets 99-92.
