Horseracing – PRIME MINISTER rule in feature event

Jockey Dane Nelson highlighted today’s nine-race card at Caymanas Park with three winners.

Nelson opened his three-timer aboard PRIME MINISTER in the day’s feature event – the Altamont V. Armond Memorial Cup over 2 thousand metres.

The eight-year-old bay horse won at short price of 2-to-5.

Nelson’s other winners were NEW KINGSTON for champion trainer Wayne DaCosta at odds of 8-to-5 and the Colin Ferguson-trained JAVOUN THE MASTER at 2-to-1.

Shane Ellis rode two winners. His winners were: 6-to-1 shot DOLLA WIN, a chance ride, and WIND CRAFT at 2-to-1.
