The father of the unarmed Jamaican teen who was shot and killed by the police in New York nearly two weeks ago says he is still searching for answers as to why his son was killed.
Eighteen-year-old Ramarley Graham was chased into the bathroom of his parentsí home in The Bronx and shot by a police officer who claimed he thought the teenager had a gun.
Police Commissioner Ray Kelly has confirmed that no gun was recovered and says the officer involved in the shooting was not trained in street-level drug enforcement.
Ramarley was buried yesterday after a funeral in The Bronx.
In a video released by his attorneys, Franclot Graham says he has not been able to get any answers about his sonís death. Mr Graham says he has always warned his son to stay off the streets, but points to the irony that his son was killed inside his home.
