A Russian passenger plane carrying 43 people has crashed shortly after take-off in Siberia.

Officials say the aircraft had just left Tyumen, on a flight north east to Surgut, also in Siberia, when it crashed.

There are conflicting reports as to the number of casualties.

Officials said 39 passengers and four crew members were on board, and some reports say at least six people have survived the accident.
